--
Our School (St. Peter’s Academy) celebrated National Space Day on 23rd August 2025 with great enthusiasm to mark the historic achievement of India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission, when the Vikram Lander successfully landed on the Moon’s South Pole on 23rd August 2023. This remarkable milestone, which made India the fourth nation to land on the Moon and the first on its South Pole, continues to be a source of pride and inspiration for every Indian.
The celebration began with a special assembly, where students presented speeches, poems, and a short skit showcasing India’s progress in space exploration.
A science exhibition was organized displaying working models, posters, and charts prepared by students on various space missions of ISRO.
Interactive workshops and sessions were also conducted, in which local experts and teachers highlighted India’s growing leadership in space technology and its recent success in the International Space Station mission.
The programme inspired students to develop curiosity about space science, encouraged them to pursue careers in STEM fields, and instilled a strong sense of national pride. The event concluded with a pledge by students to contribute towards India’s future advancements in science and technology.
